Beech Tree Park Sat 23rd November 2024 time 10:00am -12:00pm

Updated: Nov 24, 2024

A rain storm was brewing but we had work to do around the pond area at Beech Tree Park.

With all their waterproofs on, 7 volunteers, including 2 new faces, joined the Park Ranger to help open up the pathways of this park which had become very overgrown this season.

We cut back encroaching bramble, a tree near the pond, and other vegetation to allow visitors to walk through these paths and enjoy this green space.

We were also able to plant Purple Loosestrife by the pond, hopefully we'll see them in bloom in Spring and summer time.

These plants are grown locally by Celtic Wildflowers .

A very constructive morning in some quite unforgiving Welsh weather .
